Windows Tutorial
Have you ever wondered about that screenshot on the side of your Minecraft profile? No? Well, I'm gonna show you how to change it to something custom!
First, find an image. You can draw one if you like, but it'll work best if:
Save the image somewhere, and name it "icon" (without the quotation marks).
Now do the following:
Now simply copy the previously saved image into that folder, and restart Minecraft. That's it!
Tell me if it didn't work and I will attempt to figure out why. Bye.
Have you ever wondered about that screenshot on the side of your Minecraft profile? No? Well, I'm gonna show you how to change it to something custom!
First, find an image. You can draw one if you like, but it'll work best if:
- It is reasonably square (perfectly square is the best)
- The image covers up most of the screen (so that you can see it from far away)
Save the image somewhere, and name it "icon" (without the quotation marks).
Now do the following:
- Open Minecraft
- Go to the world that has the icon you want to change
- Click "Edit" (bottom left)
- Click "Reset Icon"
- Click "Open Folder"
Now simply copy the previously saved image into that folder, and restart Minecraft. That's it!
Tell me if it didn't work and I will attempt to figure out why. Bye.
