Hello!

I decided Why not make a blog about how to make a decent looking skin for any level, since there are so many blogs about it. I have many tips on making the perfect skin and uploading the perfect title to suit it. Lets get to it!

1 - Don't Use Bright Colors such as neon and straight yellow!
Its not boring, but its too much. It hurts the eyes and isn't a good texture layout. Try to use calming colors, and ones that compliment each other. If you look at the color wheel, use colors that are across from each other. Like blue and orange, purple and yellow (Not too bright!) , Ect. You can also use all blues, grays, the same color family.

2. Always Texture!
I love texturing skins, and it makes it more realistic. Using a plain color for a shirt is OK, but it's very boring and not as flattering. When you texture it makes it more realist and makes it look prettier. Its commonly used on most skin websites.

3. Take your Time!
Don't rush! It makes it look sloppy, and very messy. If your good at making quick skins, go for it! But if your just starting, its better to take a few days on it, when you take your time, you feel more proud and you get a better chance of getting subs and diamonds!

4. Be Unique!
Don't take somebody else's skin and claim it as yours, use it as a base, or copy it off! (Unless that skin is meant for that) It's very annoying and you make get banned / get your uploading privileges removed.

5. Have Fun!
This is commonly said and most people ignore it, but if you don't enjoy making skins, its better not to do it. Usually when you don't have fun, it messes it up and you dont put effort into making the skin.

Now lets Focus on the title for the skin.

1. Don't let it be boring!
Having a boring title draws people away to other skins and makes your skin sink to the bottom. Its common to have a boring title and on other websites I have it happen too.

2. Don't Steal Someone else's title!
Do not steal somebody's title name. It isn't original and it will be harder for people to see your skin. You wan't your title to be noticed! Not copied.

3.Tips on Making the Title.
Let's all be honest, it's pretty hard to come up with an original title for your skin. But try to focus on the clothing and facial features! You can easily make a title with that. If that doesn't work, Make it random! You can put words from your features on the skin into a bowl, mix it up, and choose 2 or 3 pieces of paper. Out of those words, you can make a title and have it be unique!

Now I will share some techniques that I use!

Skin Editing Website - I usually use MinecraftSkins.net. But if you want a clear base, use Minecraftskins.com (Known as skindex)

Theme - I usually would go for any theme, but I ALWAYS texture. I can't live with making a plain, boring skin.

Uploading Basis - On Skindex I Use to post as much as I can, almost everyday.

Color Choices - I like neutral , earthy tones. Close to a gray color, but sometimes I would go for a more pink color ;)

That's it for this blog, if you liked it please comment more ideas, and maybe I will choose some! Over time I may edit this.. but for now I'll leave it. Thank you for reading,, have a wonderful Day ♥

- Jess

Also, So sorry for spelling / grammar mistakes. It's 10:00 pm and I have to work on a skin, But i really hope this helped!
