So I want to make a mod but I dont know how to. If any of you out there know how to make mod, please tell me. All replys will be very much appreciated. I will also take any suggestions on what I should do next. I will be posting everything so just leave me some suggestions. I appreciate any suggestions of any kind. SO, you wanna learn to mod. First, you need MCP, short for Minecraft Coder Pack. (Google it) and basically, it is a package of files and more codes, that are all neatly organized in batch files and folders for your codes! It's pretty much like a modder's workshop. (Requires that you set your jdk path variable for decomiling java. If you don't know what im talking about, you'll figure it out when you learn java.)
Next, you need to know how to code in java. Minecraft was codded in java, so the mods must follow suit.
Once you know a good amount of java and you have MCP, decompile the minecraft source, and have at it. If you need help, feel free to ask me! I know it's complicated when you first start.
Start with building. That's easy and can never cease to be perfected. it's easy to start, and you can make something legendary as you get better. (:
