So youo re probably wondering what a Sparta Hole is. A Sparta Hole is a large hole dug into the ground mainly used on pvp servers. My friends and I made one in our pvp town and have it just in case we ever get raided. The way use it is when there is an attacker, lead him/her to it and carefully try to knock them down. Since ito s a pretty deep hole, they will for sure die unless they know the trick. Then you can safely go down and get the loots they dropped.
The way to get down is very interesting. The first thing you need to do is just hop down and let yourself fall. Then when youo re about 5 or 6 blocks from hitting the bottom, disconnect from the server. Then reconnect and fall the rest of the way down. Even though it seems you might take damage from the few blocks left, you amazingly land without losing any hearts. Then just simply collect the loot, warp away, and repeat with the other attackers.
How To Make One:
1. The first thing you need to do is get a lot of shovels and pickaxes, preferably not wood.
2. This step is optional but you can get some friends to make it go along faster.
3. Choose which shape you want it to be.(The one we had was a large circle). Once youo ve chosen what shape you want, dig an outline of it in the ground of the desired place.
4. Next dig out the shape. This should take a long time depending on the size. Stop digging around level 7 or 8. (We stopped there so we could look up without having that weird bedrock dust everywhere.)
5. (Optional). You can decorate the inside with different blocks. Ours had gray wool at the bottom and smooth stone on all the sides.
6. Enjoy the awesome and clever killing device you just made!
Even though my friends and I haveno t actually used the Sparta Hole, one day we might need to. And ito s also fun to just mess around and kill your friends with it.
The picture you see at the top is of the Sparta Hole we have in our town. We had to put a small barrier around it so random people in the town wouldno t fall down and get mad at us.
