This is how to make a texture pack, for the people that don't know:
1. you need a program to do something with painting or drawing like GIMP2, paint.net etc
2. copy this files from your minecraft.jar (you can open minecraft.jar with winrar or 7zip, and you can find it here Documents and Settingsyour nameApplication Data.minecraftbin)
needed files:
achievement
armor
art
environment
gui
item
misc
mob
terrain
title
pack.png
pack.txt
particles.png
terrain.png
3. place the files in a winrar zip map for the texturepack
4. open the file you want to change with your painting/drawing program so you can change the file
5. open pack.txt, delete the text that is standing there, and write what you want that your texture pack is called
6. place the winrar zip map into your texturepacks folder in your minecraft. (map where the map with minecraft.jar is)
7. open minecraft and select your texture pack
8. Have Fun
