Hello boys and girls today i gonna tell you how to make a server for those who don't know how to make one -.- ...
Step 1: Download minecraft_server from here or craftbukkit from here
Step 2: Look up your ip adress from here if you are behind router follow some steps longer down if not then follow the few steps that are the remaining steps.
Step 3: Open minecraft_server or craftbukkit but bukkit needs to be opened with this code in terminal: java -Xmx1024M -Xms1024M -jar (jarfilename t.ex. craftbukkit-0.0.1-SNAPSHOT.jar) nogui
Step 4: Stop the server when it is done loading.
Step 5: Copy you ip adress from Whats my ip.
Step 6 Open server.properties.
Step 7: Paste your ip your ip from the Step 4 and 5 in steps for portfordwarding on a line like this: server-ip=
Step 8: Change Online mode if you want it to be false.
Step 9: Save and quit.
Step 10: Open the server again.
Step 11: Done just to play... -.-
Steps for portfordwarding:
Step 1: open the router ip in your web browser
Step 2: Enter the password
Step 3: go to portfordward
Step 4: type in this in terminal: ifconfig
Step 5: your ip is on line 14 and after the first word there copy that ip
Step 6: Paste that ip in the first box.
Step 7: enter port 25565 in box 2 and 3 after the ip box
Step 8: take the protocol Both and enable it
Step 9: Press apply
Step 10: Done with all steps use your ip that you.
I also telling you how to install mods on a minecraft_server for those who didn't know -.- ...
Step 1: Open minecraft_server with win-rar (windows) or archive utilities (mac)
Step 2: Copy the contents of modloader mp for server into it that you are finding here
Step 3: Compile it again
Step 4: Open minecraft_server just double clicking on it then
Step 5: look after files: Modloader.txt, mods folder, banned-mods.txt and config folder
Step 6: Like Step 1.
Step 7: Copy The contents of the mod for the server in to the jar or exe
Step 8: Like Step 3
Step 9: Like step 4
Step 10: Done ready to play. -.-
