One of the main things people come onto PMC, is for uploading servers and getting their servers popular. What some people do not consider is that there are thousands of other people posting their servers on at the exact same time. Here are a few tips that will help make your server stand out from the rest and hopefully get more people onto your server.
First step:
Make sure your server is online when bumping a server. People do not like searching for a server to play on and finding out that it is offline. Most people do not consider this when bumping their sever. Sometimes, server crashes may occur. Be sure to restart your server before bumping your server to ensure your RAM limit is at a substantial level.
Second step:
Make sure that the server is bumped at the right time. The right time for bumping a server, would most probebly be during midday to late at night. This is when most people are at home. Before you bump your sever, you should take notice of other intimidating servers that might look better than yours. Rather be patient and bump it when you are sure that your server will stand out.
Third Step:
To be absolutely sure that your server will stand out, try making a really awesome looking banner. Most people are not very good at this and if you get the banner to look pleasing to the eye, it will most certainly catch your viewer's attention. (Don't know how to make a server banner? I am open for making a banner for you. Considering you subscribe to my PMC account.)
Fourth Step:
Content is very important when it comes to advertising your server. Make sure that your GOOD content is stated clearly on the post. You can achieve this by adding CAPITALS or even ★★★ to your text. All content should be positive about your server and must be true. If the people read your page and find out you lied they will not go on your server ever again.
