Here's how it will help you to post a skin professionally:
  • More likes and diamonds from the quality work
  • More views because it will look professional
  • More subscribers because they want to see more good quality work

Methods to post a skin professionally (not all of these will work on every skin and every skinner but you can try to do them all if you can)

Good title
Try to give your skin a good, creative name. For example, if your skin has a yellow shirt you can call it "Glistening honey" rather than "girl in a yellow shirt". You can also use attractive words, like glamorous, kawaii, and delightful in the title of your skin. A good place to find attractive words to use in the title is thesaurus.com, just put in a word like "dazzling" and you'll find all sorts of possibilities.

Quality description of the Skin
The description should be a short paragraph or so of good things about the skin. For example, if a skin was called "Stargirl" you might write "This skin will show the inner star in you and make you shine in Minecraft, wear it with pride". You would not want to write "I hope you like the skin, diamond and subscribe." In your description, you want to make the viewer download the skin and like it so be sure to make it appeal to the person who is reading it. Say many good things about the skin, and if you want, you can even dedicate it to a good cause.

Include pictures of the skin in Minecraft or posed, or pictures of what the skin represents
You might want to include pictures of the skin in Minecraft so the viewers have a better idea of what the skin looks like. Make sure to only include 1 or 2 pictures, and make sure to make the skin pose in front of a good background. The title picture for this blog is an example you can look at. Put the pictures of your skin below the description of it. If you want to know how to pose a skin, here is a blog about how to do that.

Connect with your viewers
At the bottom of your description, you can add a thank you and :D to your viewers for subscriptions, views, and positive feedback. You can also include what you will be doing next, whether or not you are open for requests, and any other fun little information.

Write your username in special characters before the title of your skin
I only recommend this for dedicated, skilled skinners. This can work as name recognition if you are popular and will increase the professional look of your skin. But I don't recommend that you did it until you have made at least 10 good skins.

Skin examples that follow this blog's techniques

The Sun's Reflection

If you post a skin using the tips above, no matter how bad the skin is, it is guaranteed to be liked more by PMC members. Remember that the quality of your skin is more important than how you post it, so if you want to learn about how to think of original ideas for skins you can view this blog. Thanks for reading and I hope it was helpful! :)
