Hi everyone! PenguinPaladin here and I have a blog up! This will teach you, in pictures, how to assemble some really cool Redstone machines!
First:
Automatic Day/Night piston lights!
Materials needed:
Fence x3
Redstone Block x1
Redstone Lamp x4
Sticky Piston x1
Daylight Sensor x1
The Lamp at night!
Step one: Stack three fences like so:
Step one.
Step two: add four Redstone lamps one block above the fences (Redstone lamps not on diagonals)
Step two.
Step Three: place the Redstone Block in the center of the four Lamps. Do not worry if the lamps light up.
Step Three.
Step Four: Place the sticky piston facing the redstone block.
Step Four.
Step Five: Place the Daylight Sensor on top of the sticky piston. If it's daytime while building, the piston will push the redstone block down and turn it off. At night, the sensor will power off and the piston will move up, therefore causing the Redstone Block to power the Lamps.
That's it for the first tutorial, I'll be adding more redstone tutorials to this blog soon! Keep posted!
