Step 1 - Creating the groups
Firstly create the groups you would like to implement onto your Minecraft server using
/mangadd [Groupname]
Some general ranks are already set up on the plugins default.
e.g. Owner, Admin, Mod, Builder and Default
Step 2 - Prefixes
The only problem with these default ranks is that they do not come with prefixes, A prefix is the rank name or the words behind a players name i will use the prefix, Tutorial The command to create a prefix is:
/mangaddv [Groupname] Prefix Tutorial
You can also use Color in these prefixes I will put the link to a website with all the color codes at the end.
Step 3 - Permissions/Commands
Permissions are probably the most important part of Groups, Without them the users in that group cannot use any commands or even build, I am going to show you how to add permissions from the Essentials plugin.
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.build
That Group can now build in unprotected area's!
There are many other permissions with essentials but it would take forever to go over all of them so i will just show the basic and most important ones!
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.tpa
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.tpaccept
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.tpdeny
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.sethome
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.home
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.delhome
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.warp
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.msg
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.reply
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.spawn
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.rules
/mangaddp [Groupname] essentials.build
If you add all of those to a certain Group they will be able to do all the things that you would hope them to do such as message other players ect.
If your an Admin/Mod/Owner and you wish to see other players messages simply use:
/socialspy
This command is included with the Essentials plugin.
If you wish to add ALL Commands to a group so they can do anything type:
/mangaddp [Groupname] *
To Delete a permission from a group use:
/mangdelp [Groupname] [Command]
