So if you are here, you may be new at making skins and might want them shaded the fast way! If so, then you may have just come to the right place!
1. Download GIMP http://www.gimp.org/downloads/ (Download 2.8 GIMP)
2. Make your skin on http://www.needcoolshoes.com and hit download!
3. Look for shading templates! (Grey kind)
4. Once you have 2 and 3 done, then you can start using GIMP. So open gimp and hit *File* *Open File* then put your skin, then do the same thing put instead of open file hit *Open As Layers*, then look for a thing that says normal and hit it, then scroll and look for *Grain Merge* then you should see your skin shaded!
4. 4 is not needed but incase you want your hat part of your skin shaded go on http://www.needcoolshoes.com again and hit the 3rd bottom icon and look for *Flip "Skin" and "Armor"* and do that with the template.
