Hi! In this tutorial i will teach you how to shade the head.( I use SkinEdit - alpha 3 pre 7 to make skins)

 First, what i do is make a plalet of 6 or 7 colors. In this tutorial i will be using 6 colors.  I am using blue for the hair, the white and grays are there so I can see which color is lighter and which is darker.  [img=undefined]blog!!!.png[/img]

  Second of all, on the top part of the head, go to the top left corner and go down 4 then two over.  Put the lightest shade of your color there.  Next, put two more spaced 1 pixel apart to the right.

  Then, you select the second lightest color which if you make a palet will be next to the lightest.  You now will cover all sides of the lightest color.

  Take the third lightest color and do the same, put that color next to the second lightest color.  With all the other colors do the same.  On the last color ( the darkest) once you finish that you will see there is one more pixel to fill in.  To fill that in use the 6th color and fill that in.  Or if you have a 7th color you can use that to fill it in.
