Many people now days try to get there server up to the top. 
That really hard because players play on the bigger and the best looking servers.
So here i have a small tutorial that you can use if you going to make a server

1. Make a new idea for the server. Make something special about your server, that no one else use
2. Make the server with a awesome spawn and other buildings where your players will be.3. hire a awesome staff team4. adverse your server here on planetminecraft and other server list, with a awesome banner!5. plan for the furture, like events and upcoming feature. 6. Dont ask for donation, and dont add it until you get more players on, or people want to support you7. be a active owner, dont join 1h every week8. Maybe add some perks for people that have played like 5h, that will make people play more on the server

its so easy to make a server with small community. it is not more you need to do. but to add more feature to the server, to make it grow
