Introduction

In this guide you will teach you not only how to survive in minecraft but thrive too, I will include pictures to accomadate my writing and i promise they are all 100% mine.
This will be entered in the contest but it is meant to be used anytime during minecrafts life so I will be updating the guide if major game changes take place. So enough explaining and let us begin!

Controls
Obviously you need to get familier with the controls if you dont know them already.
The controls are as follows :
Walk Forward = W
Walk Backwards = S
Walk Left = A
Walk Right = D
Sneak = SHIFT key
Run = CTRL Key
Jump = SPACE Key
Inventory = E
Drop Item in hand = Q
Chat = T
Pause/Options = ESC Key
Attack/Break Blocks = Left Mouse click
Draw Bow/Place Blocks/Eat Food = Right Mouse click
Switch Items in hotbar = Scroll Wheel / Numbers 1-9


The First day/night
when you create your world you will spawn in to a blocky world.
You will hopefully see trees beside you or close by you.
walk over to the tree and put your curser over any part of the trunk.
Hold Attack and a breaking animation will appear on the tree.
If you hold down attack long enough the log will break and a small log item

Food
food is very important. you will see above a bar of chichen sticks, when that is low you need to eat
