***Hey, Guys! Rocks255 here. First blog, etc, etc. Please don't go hatin' up a storm at this. Please consider each number before posting rage messages. Thanks for being totalpro about this!

1. Only let people into your faction that you know and trust. This is the #1 Rule. Don't let anyone join your faction that you are "edgy" about, they most likely will want to raid you.
2. Do not build your entire base close to spawn. This makes an extremely easy target out of your base, people could just use /f map and find your base.
3. To avoid being TNT raided, the best defense you could possibly have is obsidian with water on the outside of it. Do whatever you want to to make it better, but thats the basic idea.
4. "I read #2... how far out should I build my base?" The farther, the better. Make sure you note what the world boundaries are.
5. Build either a SkyBase or an Under-Ground Base. If you make a SkyBase, make it as high up as you would dare, preferably over water. However, making it above land could be a good strategy if you catch thieves and hit them off of your base, then retrieve the items again below. If you make an Under-Ground base, make sure to make it at bedrock (or almost to bedrock, as usual raiders will go as low as they can.)
6. If your going for a raid, make sure you have done everything you need to do. make sure your opponent doesn't have any advantages over you. Use the element of surprise. If you know you cannot win in a fight with him/her, then wait until they log off... but be careful they don't log back in within a few minutes. Using Ender Pearl glitches and Boat glitches are a good way to get to places, but there is almost always an unspoken rule against them.
7. Don't be stupid.
8. Make sure to line your chests up in a way that you can cover them all up. The worst part of getting raided is discovering that the only reason the others were able to steal your stuff is because your chests weren't covered. Sand works very very well, as does gravel and dirt.
9. Don't fight others that are stronger than you. If someone is obviously much better with better enchants than everybody else, then don't fight him/her. You'll just get your stuff stolen.
10. This is a big one. off of #1, about not letting everyone into your faction is a faction with big numbers. now, if you have 1 person, then you'll most likely have to fight 2 or 3 people in a faction. Now, if your faction has 5-6 people in it, you can easily team up and defeat them (with proper enchants and such.)
11. And, number 11. Get as many /f ally's as you can, and try to keep clear of /f enemy's.
12. Last one. Enchanting Diamond Swords is a great way to pvp, but make sure that your armor can match. I know that i'd hate to lose a God Sword(a very powerful sword with many enchants) over having weak armor.

If you think that I missed anything, please comment. Thanks for reading, and for just being c00l.
