This Is going to be a tutorial on how to setup groups with permissionsEx
so first off all you are going to need to install the lastest version of pex depending on what version your server is , if its 1.8 get the 1.8 version if its 1.7.10 get the 1.7.10 version and so on you will be needing vault to run permissioneEx so make sure to install that to , so when you have them both installed you will need to give yourself * permissions which will give you access to all pex command to do this go to your console and type /pex user {name} add * this gives you * permissions , once that is done we will proceed.

Groups;
To create a group you simple type /pex group (group-name) create
then you type /pex group (group-name) set default true ( if you want this to be your default groups )
then you want to type /pex group (group-name) set build true ( if you want them to have build permissions )
those will come up under the options under the config when you run a command ingame it will refresh into the config so theres no need to worry about editiing in the config,

Prefixes:
to set a prefix for your group you simple type /pex  group (group-name) prefix (prefix)
there are many colour codes you can use for this to see all the color codes click the link below

i like to give me prefix a professional look so my prefix would be &f<&fOwner&f> this is the way i like to set my prefixes , you can set it out however you like.

Suffix:
If you want players to have a suffix it will appear on the right of the name as the prefix is on the left hand side , to add a prefix to players name or groups do
groups: /pex groups (group-name) suffix (suffix)
players: /pex user (name) suffix (suffix)

Ladder:
if you are running a prison server you will need to set all your ranks into the ladder to do this you will need to do
/pex (group-name) set rank 1 , this will set the rank in the ladder to 1 so it will be the first rank , when a player ranks up the second rank would be 2 so they rank up to the second rank in the ladder , this is really easy to config when you get used to it

Permissions:
To add a permission to a group first of all you will need to go to the permission nodes wesbite and get all the nodes click the link below for the nodes

to add a permission to a group simply type /pex group (group-name) add (permission node)
Setting group inheritance
if you cant be bothered to set all the permissions for all the groups you can set parents so the group below get the permissions from the group above or the other way round simple type /pex group (group-name) set parents (group-name)

Buycraft Ranks
Giving players the oppertunity to buy ranks of buycraft is easier than you think click the gyazo below to see the basic setup.

before you go onto putting your ranks onto your buycraft you will need to make a catergory by simple clicking add category there is a gyazo below of what this will look like

you can fill the name in with (Ranks) then add a short or long description of what will be in this category
one you have filled everything in you can then go onto adding your ranks , your most probably sitting there thinking well how to players get the ranks after buying them well ill tell u , when you have filled everything in you will see at the bottom is sais commands , this is where the buycraft runs a command that implements into your server , to give your players the rank after buying them add a command and type pex user {name{ group set (group-name) this will place them into the group after buying the rank , if you want to run a command ingame that tells everyone that they have brough a rank simply add another command and type shout Thankyou {Name} For Buying (group-name) you can add colur codes and add whatever you want in there that is just the basic setup of how to shout ingame that someone has brought a rank .
