Herobrine was never a mob or in minecraft at all. Now I've been doing a
little research and I found out something that will explain allot. I'm
going to copy something from the minecraft wiki.
Herobrine first appeared in a single image detailing an encounter. It
was posted on a thread in the forums, and gained very little attention.
It stated how Herobrine had appeared in someone's single-player game,
littering the map with various pyramids and tunnels.
It was only later that Herobrine grew in popularity, when the Brocast
staff staged a hoax in one of their live-streams. Herobrine was
introduced to the stream here (at 20:45).
Later on, there was another video showing Herobrine in a user-made lava
field. The livestream went down after the player ran and saved, only to
resume ten minutes later, where Herobrine had disappeared.
During this stream, the player can be heard talking to his wife, stating
he was trolling, which flooded the livestream chat with outrage. The
player then faked a game crash.
During this crash, all watchers were redirected to another page,
featuring Herobrine's face, but with real, frantically rolling eyes in
the place of his block eyes, modified to be completely black.
When viewing the page's source, there were a jumble of characters and
letters. after removing all non-alphabet characters, the following
message was revealed.
It has been reported that some victims of torture, during the act, would
retreat into a fantasy world from which they could not WAKE UP. In this
catatonic state, the victim lived in a world just like their normal
one, except they weren't being tortured. The only way that they realized
they needed to WAKE UP was a note they found in their fantasy world. It
would tell them about their condition, and tell them to WAKE UP. Even
then, it would often take months until they were ready to discard their
fantasy world and PLEASE WAKE UP.
The message keeps telling the viewer to "wake up", implying they're
living in a fantasy world, and this text hidden in the page is their
"note".Anyway People started trolling and people got all crazy. Then
people actually made a herobrine skin. Allot of stuff started to happen.
Somebody made a account on the minecraft forums with the username
"Herobrine" (without the Quotation marks) which mysteriously disappeared
(I've checked ,username was taken but there wasn't any user that was
using it) then somebody (maybe the same person) made a minecraft
account. Now "Herobrine" was a griefer with herobrine's skin. Now, if a
griefer want's to grief every server they aren't going to do it all
themselves are they? No. So this guy created an automated griefing AI
for his account that hacked itself into servers. While on servers,
Herobrine killed players and built pyramids. The most likely reason for
pyramids is because they are very basic patterns and it wouldn't be hard
to program a AI to build them. This also explains the rareness of
non-faked herobrine sightings on vanilla servers. The removed herobrine
thing is just a joke to removing the human mob and it appeared in later
updates to continue the joke. Finally Notch never had a brother. He had a
sister and a step brother but never any brother. So herobrine isn't a
real mob there is somebody who griefs servers under the username
herobrine.

If you wanna play around with herobrine get the awesome Herobrine Mod 1.7.2 - 1.7.10

I mean this as you called me a noob on one of my blogs, which adresses the issue of stealing. Your blog explains how Herobrine was made up! Very childish. Also, nobody is Herobrine. He was a photoshopped myth.
