http://www.minecrafthungergames.com is a great server, it has a limit of 400 players, and just like the blockbuster film, you start out in one of several different maps of your choosing (small biome-sphere, town, etc)


Following a timer, you rush toward several chests in the middle, or take the other option and run into the wilderness and hope to find supplies there. Between 35 and 70 people per map, and the survivor is lauded for his bravery.


Several donation options on the site (much like tributes) allow you to gain weapons and armor right at the start of the game, and gives you that edge which could put the player over the top.


It's definitely worth checking out, and with such a high player retention rate, it's one you'll be playing for a while.
