Interview with a Chat Moderator [Miss Shadowz]

Question 1:
How did you find Planet Minecraft?
"My brother introduced me to Planet Minecraft. At the time I wasn't interested, as time progressed, I came upon Planet Minecraft once again in search of a skin. Back then I only wore teen skins (lol) I noticed amazing skinners and was inspired. I wanted to become as good as them. Shortly afterwards I registered my own account. (I had previously used my brothers account)"
Question 2:
How did you become Chat Moderator?
"Honestly, I do not know. I suppose the moderators noticed me, and decided I would be a decent moderator."
Question 3:
What kinds of jobs do you do as Chat Moderator?
"As a Chat Moderator I make sure the community / chat remains family friendly and peaceful for all users to reside in. This includes awarding infractions to those who disregard the rules, banning users who have continued to break the rules and dealing with any hate mail that I may receive."
Question 4:
What is your favorite part about being Chat Moderator?
"There are lots of advantages to being a Chat Moderator, people look up to me as someone who holds great responsibility and power, but because of this many users simply refer to me as "chat moderator" I also gain quite a lot of subs. Though I do not greatly admire this advantage as I would rather people subscribe to me because they like my submissions. My favourite part of being a moderator would just be the fact that I am a moderator at a wonderful community such as this one."

How would one become a Chat Moderator?
"By not wanting the position badly. I find those who badly want to become a moderator, do anything they can to prove themselves worthy. This includes mini modding and sucking up to the moderators. Users who decide to do that are normally not chosen for the position. I would suggest just being friendly, helpful, active and most importantly, yourself."
