Today I got the chance to interview Cakebunny! I will be the BOLD BLACK and Cakebunny will be the GREEN!
When did you start playing Minecraft?
I have been playing Minecraft PE since 2012 and in August 2014, I got a PC for my birthday. Along with the PC I also got Minecraft and since then, cakebunny101 was born (My minecraft account!).
When did you start skinning?
I started skinning a few months ago. I discovered the skindex editor and I found out how to shade by searching how to shade tutorials on youtube.
What inspiries you to make skins?
I basically make stuff I love. For example, I love nyan cat, and that's the reason I have posted a few nyancat skins. Same with my steampunk skin. I absolutely love steampunk skins so I decided to make one!
How long does it take to make a skin on average?
It varies from time to time. It also depends on how much time I have. I would normally take about 1-3 hours to make a skin. It sometimes take longer such as 3+ hours and even 1 day for some of my skins.
Have your fans been supportive?
My fans are basically people who have subscribed to me. And they are being supportive if they have subscribed to me, or otherwise I wouldn't have the amount of exp I have now. :3 One of my fans I met in the chat lounge told me I was awesome which I really appreciate since they had just met me x3
What makes you want to keep on skinning?
I enjoy skinning because it's something I can do in my free time, or when I'm bored. I also really enjoy how I like it when people download my skins to use, of course, or I wouldn't post my skins if no one wanted to use them.
Do you have any tips for aspiring skinners?
Hmm yesh I do. When I started on PMC I wasn't very popular but after a while I started becoming more popular so never give up. Also, don't just create stuff. Go on the forums, go on the chat, I gained a few subscribers I met in the chat.
