Hello, and welcome to my interview with toukaa! She joined PMC in late 2020, but have recently become quite a prominent creator, known for her many anime and manga-themed creations. :) I hope you enjoy our interview!
My questions are in dark grey; her answers are in white.
1. What inspired you to start making Minecraft skins?
1. i always browsed through Minecraft skins on various websites to wear in-game, but i never knew i could make my own! so i started making them, and after about five months i set up a PMC account and started posting, then i made a Skindex account as well. :)
2. Do you have a persona? If so, what inspired you to create them?
2. Yes, i do have a persona! Here she is, and her name is Rika! hmm, i guess I've always had a liking for braids, so i put them on her, and in my previous version she had the 'wings of freedom' from my all-time favorite show, Attack On Titan!
3. What is your favourite submission (that you have made)? Your favourite that someone else has made?
3. My favourite submission i have made has gotta be my sasha braus skin, from Attack on Titan and my favourite submission somebody else has made is probably anxii's pieck finger skin, also from Attack On Titan :D
4. What would you consider to be your greatest accomplishment (either IRL or on PMC)?
4. My greatest accomplishment is probably winning the national art competition in my country a few years ago, though i don't think i have any big accomplishments on PMC :')
5. What is your favourite feature on PMC? Your least favourite?
5. My favourite feature on PMC is the fact that you can edit a skin you have already posted.
My least favourite feature is how site members can see your activity feed, so the comments you have posted, the skins you have diamonded (is that a word??) and favourited and even the skins you have downloaded. I wish there was a way to make your activity private :/
6. Do you have an inspiration (either for making skins or in real life)? If so, what do you like about them?
6. My biggest PMC inspiration is probably anxii, and an inspiration for me in real life would be ru's piano on youtube, i love their piano covers and they always make me in the mood to play piano xD
7. What is one thing you are very passionate about?
7. One thing I'm very passionate about is drawing! Though I don't think I'm very good at it, I still enjoy it. :)
8. What advice would you give to a new PMC member?
8. I would tell a new PMC member never to compare yourself to experienced skinners. If you look at other people's skins who have been making them for years and then think "I wish I was as good as them"; you're only letting yourself down!! Practice makes perfect! :D
9. Do you have a current goal for your content? If so, what is it?
9. My current goal for my content is to be an inspiration to lots of people. :)
10. How would you describe yourself in three words?
10. I would describe myself as quiet, antisocial and lonely.
