I've been to very many servers since I started playing minecraft, and I've always wonderd how it sould be to own my own server. But the problem is, there is too many of them.. Ever since beta there has been over 9000 servers! And now there's at least 5 times more! What makes a server special? Mods, plugins, friedly active staff, cheap donations, large spawns or what? I've also been thinking about starting a Pixelmon faction server, but there's a lot of them already, but is it worth it?

That's my question for you. And if you are intrested to play on that kind of server WHAT should tempt you to play often, or just try?

Any suggestion would be much appreciated. And why wont you subscribe so you get info when (if) I start the server?
