Alright by a show of Blocky Fists how many of you have heard, "Video Games rot your brains" or maybe, "Video Games are a waste of time!" I know I have! Well than that said how many of you actually believe it? Well, your wrong. Video Games enhances your brain in the best possible way. Now grant it not every game gives you positive reinforcement (Call of Duty f**s). Out of curiosity what does Minecraft do for us?

Commonly we all say, "It's a game used by architects were can we go wrong?" Well, unless your an architect, a lot of things can. But even if your not an architect it still is very helpful!  How many of you actually know survival skills? How many of you learned those survivals skills by being a cub scout? Don't answer the next question than. So, if you've never been in the cub scouts, how many of you actually know some survival skills because of Minecraft? Point made. You may think to yourself well punching a tree can't possibly help you with wood, but to a certain extent your wrong. your going to use your hands to create the tools you need if you ever get stranded on a desert island, but tats not likely to happen. If it does, be sure to find a volleyball, and hang on for the ride. Oh, and be sure to name it Wilson.

Though the Nether or the End dont exist in real life, the game also nutures your creative abilities. Especially with community bases like this! Creativity can be found all over this site, and all because of Minecraft! Like who knew that Gnomes could be so intresting to live with!

Anyway, not only does Minecraft nuture creativity, building, and survival skills, but it also enhances your ability to think for yourself if your playing in single-player, or teamwork, leadership, and cooperation in multiplayer. I personally feel that Towny or Faction servers are the best, because I like that feeling of community and having it just grow bigger and bigger. Minecraft brings you all these wonderful things.

But the one thing I must bring up by how much this helped me, and as a highly experienced miner, is my memory. My memory and navigational skills have increased greatly after playing Minecraft. I can't say how many times I got lost in my many mines and caves, but now I have yet to get lost!

So, my fellow friends in gaming, most games do teach us something, and don't forget how big of a piece of your life they can be.  The sources of knowledge are infinite.
