Help! The killer apples have taken over Minecraft! ...What? You want to make more of them?! You're crazy! Well, I guess if you can't fight them, join them.
These crazy little critters are based off of the Corrupted Apples from Wynncraft (found in the orchard near Detlas). I thought they were funny and after making a discovery in the snapshot, I wanted to remake them in vanilla Minecraft. I don't really have much else to say about them, other than that they are scary in a horde!
Here is the command to summon them into our Minecraft realm (use snapshot 14w30a or higher):
Note: The apple items disappear after 10 minutes, but their souls will still roam the world after their item bodies are gone as invisible ghosts. Use this command to remove their bodies and ghosts:

Basically, what is going on is that there is an item entity (with an "apple" ID and an empty enchantment to make it shiny) that is riding an invisible silent silverfish. The silverfish has a modified speed attribute that obviously makes it move very fast. It also has higher health so that it is a bit harder to kill, a larger follow range, and lower attack damage.
