OK, first things first! Let's start with the basics of the hair!
So, to start, prepare a colour palette that looks nice, like this example:

Once you have your palette, EXPERIMENT!

I have 3 shading styles as an example down here:

(these are just examples, so you can base your hair shading with this picture)

A hair always needs a top and bottom!

For the bottom, you basically colour in an area like this:

and the top like this (at least for my style)



'BuT wHaT aBoUt LoNg HaIr???' you may be asking. Yes, I do have trouble with that, but this is what I came up with:



Well, that's all the tips I had for now, but at least you know how to plagiarize someone else's work in the form of a skin shade hair a different way!

When I was getting used to PMC3D, a good starting point is the colour sliders below the colour wheel.
