Something has been eating away at me for the past few weeks. What makes a good persona? How do people come up with them? What makes them so special? How do they create them to their liking?
First off you have to understand the meaning of persona:
A role or character that a person assumes. This means that online they become that person.
Look at Meggles, Her person is a female neko with bells in her hair and around her neck.
What makes that persona good? It was designed to be cute, it has cat ears which are widely loved by many, the eyes are meant to look chibi, and the coloring is good.
Now the Question is How do they come up it?
Personas are a mixture of personal likes and attributes they have to create their fictionalselves. They may also be characters they like from anime shows, cartoons, or whatever.
How do you make them unique? For starters don't do anything overly generic or overused. Think outside the box. For example, If everyone has a fish persona don't make a fish persona. Make a cow persona.
Now to the meat of the matter. I've been having the hardest time trying to create a persona all my own. And I simply can't.
I don't want a cat persons, mermaid persona, or anything overdone,

I think a persona is a character that shows yourself :3
I have trouble making a persona, but... nevermind x3
They show something like your favotire food, color, animal or your personality (maybe...? ;3)
Well... there is way more a persona shows, but I am too lazy to count them o3o
