I'd like to talk to you guys about stealing and copying. It's a big issue among anyone who makes successful things. It's the reason why some people refuse to put out a download link because there are people who steal and copy it, which ruins it for everyone.
Well why is it bad?
Well it is wrong morally because you are taking someone else's work and saying that it is your own. The original person put hard work into it for it, while the copier barely does anything to it. Also the copier may even be more popular and take away from the original to make them seem like the knockoff. A famous case of this is Oreo and Hydrox cookies(Oreo is a copy of Hydrox). Also usually people who copy don't give credit to the original creator so they don't even benefit from it even thought they made it!
Modifying it does not make it yours!
This is commonly technique used to circumvent being too obviously copied. Let me show you an example of someone who copied my Patrol Boat and uploaded back onto Planet Minecraft(no credit given to me)
The one on the right is mine and the one on the left is their modified version of mine. As the original creator of the boat, I immediately recognized it as mine and I imported my boat for comparison as seen in the pic.
Well let's take a look at what they did: change the color, added another mast, added a helicopter pad, but still it's not that different from mine. Doing all that work to cover up what they stole, just to avoid giving credit.
Guys I'm usually fine with people including my work in your projects, but you need to give me credit and at least diamond the project if you are going to use it. Always ASK before. The only time you don't need to ask if you are just using it for personal purposes and not uploading it to PMC as your own.
There was another case where a person actually PM'ed me, gave me credit, but uploaded one of my planes built in MCPE before asking permission. This is a big no no. Always ask first not later. After refusing, it was reuploaded to PMC again saying he made it and cursed at me. He claimed the wings were modified, but I barely even saw a difference.
I just wanted to let you guys know that this is a big issue. These are the works that I only noticed, but the scary thing is that there are must be more projects that have not been caught.
For you guys who likes memes this pretty much sums it up.
So if you see something stolen, please report it and please don't diamond it!

Astro Out
I remember a time where I discovered someone had copied my semi truck on a different class server and did a horrible job at doing so too. The truck itself was the same length but a few details were screwed up (Lack of interior, bed placed on the roof). The trailer was the best part, it was at least 10 blocks shorter in length, a block shorter in width and a bit rounder.
I would also like to remind ppl that "inspiration" doesn't mean you should change colors or add few modifications ....even tho I cant resist is when something feels so nice :PPP
If it bothers you, then you should contact (via PM) them and ask them to either remove it or give you credit. If they refuse and you still want to pursue it, then contact a site moderator and PM them all them they facts (including links to your original project, the offending project, and your conversation with the copier).
Finally, I think it's important to remember that if you've built something based on someone else's original work (like the Millennium Falcon), that you don't really have any true right to that work once you've willingly shared it with everyone. Most people (including myself) will agree that you should receive credit, but in the end, you yourself can't enforce that.
For example, I built a shuttle based on a shuttle seen in Battlestar Galactica. Another builder on PMC posted this photo in one of their projects without giving me any credit for what was (to me) obviously my project. The builder had taken my work and modified it to look more like the original shuttle. I think he still should have given me credit, but I don't own any of the projects elements (not even the basic design), so I chose to just let it go (especially since it wasn't even the main focus of the build, just one of a few shuttle in a nicely made hangar).
