Chapter One: The Awakening
Day 1:
As I open my eyes I find myself in a strange world made of blocks. No one insight as I look around until I see a moving figure in the distance. I walk over to see what it was and it turns out to be a weird green thing with eyes. It turns and sees me, it starts running towards me. Thinking it was going to hurt me I ran jumping over block after block of dirt and rock but to no Perivale it was still chasing me. As I try to jump over this next piece of dirt the green thing catches up. I just make it over as I am pushed by an explosion into a nearby wall. Barely being able to stand I get up and start walking over to were the green thing exploded. Noticing a change in the landscape I walk to where a close by tree was and upon walking picked up some wood. I grab out the newly harvested wood and placed 1 block on the ground then picked it up again. I should probably build a house since the weird green things everywhere. I finished building my little house ito s a tight fit but it will do after all I dono t want the Green things exploding and there are more enemies than just the green things there are also zombies, skeletons and spiders. I just need to wait for the sun to come up they seem to only come out at night time.
Day 2:
The sun is now up and the only things that can hurt me now are the green things or those enemies hiding in the caves. I built myself a crafting table and am now trying to make me some tools, weapons and have even extended my house. I have started a mine and now have a small amount of iron. After the vagaries mining I worked on building a farm and plated some seeds a found I also got some meat by accidently killing a pig. I got home and started cooking my supper, just as it became dark I knew I now needed to make a bed so I could sleep.
Day 3:
At the first break of daylight I went to go get some wool for my bed I was able to collect 5 pieces. I also got some more wood to make a chest to store my things and crafted a door for my house as well. I finished making my bed and chest. I pretty much put all my things in the chest except a few tools. I went to my mine to dig around for more iron but with no luck I couldno t find any. After leaving the mine it was already dark. I began to run home to my bed to sleep but before I could I was surrounded by zombies. I managed to kill about 3 before I decided to run. I ended up with my back against the wall so I had to try to destroy the rest of them. Nearly dying in the process I did defeat all the zombies but as I began to walk back to my home I was caught off guard by a green thing and was destroyed in the explosion. I appeared in my bed room next to my bed confused about the fact I was still alive. I decided to sleep on it and ended up having a weird dream about another world I had lived in.
Day 4:
After awakening I had a lot of thinking to do one being the fact that Io m still alive and the other being that dream it felt so realistic. I went for a walk to get some fresh air and ended up at my farm which is only over a sort of big hill. Some of the seeds had sprouted and some wereno t but that wasno t a big deal. I also decided to destroy the hill blocking my farm. By the time I had finished it was nearly night so I went home. I found some new items when destroying the hill. I got some coal and some more stone I was starting to think I should build a new house but out of stone so it would be stronger
Day 5:
I had the same dream except it went on for a bit longer and I learned some new information about this other world. This world was full of people millions even billions of people and I started to wander if I was alone. Instead of doing anything productive I decided to make a signal to tell other people in this world that their not alone and that I was also here too. After creating the signal it was night, a skeleton appeared. As he began to shooting with arrows I grabbed my wooden sword and started hitting him with it. It took many tries but he finally died leaving nothing but a few bones.
Day 6:
I had the same dream again and still cano t tell what it all means. Going to my farm I see something drinking the water that surrounding my crops. It sees me and seems cautious. I somehow have the feeling I have seen this creature before and I throw the bones. I have on the ground. It takes them and becomes friendlier towards me. He followed me home so I decided to keep him and I now call him Gary.
Day 7:
I destroyed my house and made another out of stone, a bigger better one. I also made 20 more bed rooms for others like me, who are lost in this world. Gary can be of great use to me in my living in this world. He is able to find water and track enemy in the distance. I went to my mine leaving Gary at home. Digging around for hours I only found a small amount of coal. Just as I was going to leave I spotted some iron. I began to mine it and when I finish I fell through the floor. I was about to make my way back up to the upper level when I saw a shiny block in the corner of my eye. I tried to mine it with my stone pickaxe to it didno t seem to have any effect. So I thought maybe a stronger pickaxe was needed so I made a crafting table and began trying to craft an iron pickaxe but it didno t work. So I was thinking I maybe needed to change the iron in some way for it to work. I build a furnaso to melt the iron and after adding my iron and some coal into the mix I had made a iron ingot. Using the newly formed ingots I did make a iron pickaxe. After mining the unnamed substance I realised what it was. A diamond.
Day 8:
After waking up I head to farm and harvest around 15wheat. As I walk back to my house I see something weird near my signal. I go closer to investigate and stand there shocked in what I was seeing. It was another human, I finally found another human. o Hello can you hear meo I asked. o Yeso the other human said. o Are you lost in the world tooo I continued to question. o What do you mean losto ? o I dono t know but I dono t think I belong in this worldo . He remains silent staring at me in a frustrated but sees I am telling the truth. o Sorry Io m getting ahead of myself would you mine telling me your nameo I asked. o Cano t you see it above my head oh well its steveypops93o . o Oh ok thankyou but if your name is above your head is my name above my heado . o Yes it iso . o Can you please tell me what iso ? o Are you seriouso ? o Yeso o about 8 days ago I woke up here with no memoryo . o Oh Io m sorry to hear that so I will help you out. o Thankyouo . Day 9:
After taking with Stevepop93 we went for a walk to his house. As I walked in through the door I was amazed of how much stuff he had. o Now how much do you know about this world +Michael+o said Stevepop93. o Well I know how to craft thing, mining also, building and about the zombies, skeletons, spiders and the green thingso I replied. o Their called creepero he said. o Ok firstly this world is called Minecraft or The Forgotten World and it is a world where you go before you pass on to the afterlife, not all people who come here die but most often do and there are numerous ways of getting out of here the first being death. The second is your actual self survives letting you leave; another is having come to peace with your being here and move on. The forth way is to want to be dead but that doesno t happen a lot but for you I dono t think any of these will work for youo . o Why noto I asked. o Because in the whole time I have been here no one has ever had no memory, but maybe no no no that wouldno t worko . o Whato I questioned. There is one thing but no one has ever tried it and the only knowledge of this way is in an old book. Ito s even older than me and Io ve been here for a long time. Ok here is what it said to do, you must make a special object that enables you to travel through different worlds and to move on to another world you must do what the machine tells you. It all depends on what world youo re in and the task will be set as the world. Plus to get back to your own world you must travel through each world to receive a special object which when all are collected you must go to a temple and the Warp Gate, the door will open when all the items are collected and it will send you home. There is also a little song to it which goes to return home you must go to all the lands and pass every test, you must collect the diamond from the world itself. You may only receive the gem when the test is finished, the way to get the diamonds is to show bravery and courage along with compassion. Once you reach the gate then and only then can you return homeo . I thought to myself wow this sucks the only way I can go home is to travel from world to world collecting gems to open a stupid gate but if I made it to the end I would be able to go home and I would probably get my memories back too. o Io ll do ito I said. I go to sleep wondering what will become of me when I reach the Warp Gate and how I was going to collect all the diamonds.
Day 10:
Waking up in the morning I got up and took Gary to see Stevepops93. o Im ready to start the different world thingo I said. o Not yeto replied Stevepops93 o you first have to make thiso as he shows me a picture from an old book. o Its enchanting table and dono t worry I have the martials that are neededo said Stevepops93. I have one question thougho I said o when you were talking yesterday you called this place the forgotten world why is thato . o Well ito s because this place used to be filled with people who were going to die but now there are noneo . o To come to this world you need to aware of this places existence and be willing to be here so the forgotten worldo . o Oh ok wait!o o How am I here if I have no memorieso ? o I guess you wondered in by accidento . After about an hour he was finished and I was going to start my quest. o So I press the big red button to start ito ? o Yeso . o But be careful you might get something called time distortiono . I started the machine and said goodbye to Stevepops93. I was zapped to a temple and weird enough my pocket started glowing. My diamond flu out and was hovering in circles around a big round door. o Greetings brave traveller I am the Warp Gate and since your hearing this you have found the Diamond of Beginings You are starting a long and dangerous journey to get back home. You must find the Diamonds and bring them to me to open the gate. You are going to be sent on your first quest soon but first take thiso . Suddenly a dark black robe and a giant sword appeared. o Now go to the next world and claim the next Diamond. The room lit up by a nearby glow. I looked and it was a door. As Gary and I walked into the light I began to see some thing.
