I had heard many things about redstone, I heard that it could power things and make crazy contraptions, I wanted to know how, but I was low on torches and wood, so I had to set out to cut more trees, I quickly gathered some logs and made a few torches just as night came above. I pulled out the redstone from my chest and placed it on the ground not knowing what it could do, I tried many combinations of ways in the crafting grid, but got nothing, I looked in my trusted handbook (The Internet) to see what I could do with it, I found out I can make torches with it the same way with redstone dust in replace of the coal, and made a few, I placed redstone on the ground and a torch near it noticing how it powered and lit up some of the area. I had some near the door and placed a torch on it opening the door, I knew I was going to like redstone.
