Minecolony simulates a colony in the 1600s, your job is to build up your colony and it will slowly populate according to how many Citizen's house you have, each house hold a Male villager and a Female villager. The villagers pay taxes at the end of the day using bronze, silver or gold coins. You can then use those coins to pay workers to work or use it to exchange into iron ingots, gold ingots or diamond! You can change how much the tax is but beware, if the villagers are not happy they wont like paying high taxes but happy villagers won't mind paying a bit more.

This mod will also benefit you in resources:

Lumberjack: The lumberjack will cut trees about 20 block from his chest and plant saplings after he cut down the tree. The better tool you give him the faster he cuts wood which means more wood logs at the end of the day. This is my favorite worker because all you need is to plant a few trees, the more the merrier, and he will collect logs AND replant the trees. Free wood as long as you pay him.

Miner: The miner will... well mine. He creates a mine shaft down and will start mining for you. As with the lumberjack, the better the tool, the faster he works. He will mine anything you mine except for maybe obsidian. The Miner may sound good and all but him mining gold or diamond is rare. Your lucky enough if u can get 16 iron ores. The tool he use are pickaxe and shovel, make sure you supply him with torches or he will stop.

Farmer: The farmer keep you supplied with wheat, a lot of wheat. Within 3 minecraft days or so i have gotten about 3 stack of wheat. This is my second favorite worker, other than the lumberjack. Keep him supplied with hoes and a shovel or two and your set. If he is out of seed he will seek out tall grass near his chest and get seeds on his own if you didn't supply him any. If there are no tall grass near his chest and he is out of seeds, he wont work. Giving him about 16 seeds is enough because as we know, harvesting wheat also drops seed.

Builder: The builder build houses for you as long as there are materials for him to work with. He will seek out other chest for materials if his chest doesn't have it. When you put down a worker's chest or a citizen's chest, right click it and there will be a button called Information. Click it and it will tell you the information of the building as well as the command for the house.

-Recall Citizens will teleport everyone who is associated with the chest.
-Build House will build the house or upgrade to the next level building
-Repair House will repair the damage dealt to the building such as missing blocks.
-Pay Salary will pay the worker coins from your inventory, therefore he will work.

There are many more workers such as The Hunter, The Baker and The Delivery man. for you to explore. I only covered what I think are important. I'm not sure if enchanted tools will effect how fast the worker works, if anyone knows for sure please let me know. There are many bugs with this mod like the villagers not consuming food but they are working to fix it. There are many more Workers in progress such as The Fisherman. This is a great mod and i love it.
