Hey, UsedGum again. This is another community blog, though this time it is about Minecon locations! Where do you think it should be next? Comment below, and I will put your opinions on here!
I do think that they should hold Minecon 'down under' sometime in the future, as I know there are a lot of Minecraft fans who live there. However, if Mojang don't want to, then possibly have a Minecraft expo, like the one which was recently held in the UK.

Minecon 2010 was located in Bellevue, Washington and many member of the Minecraft community participated! It was held on August 31st.
Minecon 2011 was held at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas, Nevada and accompanied the official release of Minecraft! Capes were given to all participants. This time, it was held on November 18th.
Minecon 2012 was located at Disneyland in Paris, and the entire convention waslive streamed by GameSpot, and is still available to watch! Another cape was given to all participants, and if you went to Minecon both years, you could alternate between designs. It was held at approximately the same time as last year - November 24-25th.

Many people believe it is a good idea to alternate between the US and Europ because the situation with Europeans coming/going to the US is the exact same when Minecon is in Europe. I'd have to say, Mojang is smart for making that decision, but why not go somewhere else? You know how many people have flag counters on their profile? If you look, you will see that there is 3 flags almost always at the top of the list. They are usually people from the US, Europe, as well as Australia. I believe Minecon should be held in Australia, as a large amount of Minecraft fans, in fact, live there. Yes, I do live there, but that is not just the reason for my opinion. Don't you think Mojang has made a large enough profit from the Europeans to come to Australia? Okay, this is kind of turning into a rant, so I'll stop, haha.
