Minecraft, is it addictive? Well my answer would be yes! When I first went on minecraft, all I had was a crappy little laptop that froze every thirty seconds and I just played on the classic free version on minecraft.net! Now I have a full gaming computer, extra super graphics card, new speakers, two high resolution screens, new headset, various gaming hardware extras, various gaming software extras, premium accounts on various minecraft related sites and all three versions of minecraft! Crazy! I went from computer illiterate to geek in the space of a year! Before I got minecraft, I could not even touch type!


For me, the main attraction of minecraft was that, once you found out how, there were almost no rules, and if you actually hack the game, you get even more things that you can do. It is a sandbox game where you can do what you like, be what you like and build what you like. It has almost no constraints!


I appreciate the downsides of minecraft to make some people not want to play it such as the graphics and the commands, but in my opinion those just make it so much better!
