Introduction:

I know there are many blogs about minecraft lag, but this is my go at it.

Minecraft and Lag:

As we all know minecraft is a sandbox game, so the lag in minecraft is different. First off, PvP or PvM lag does not really take up the whole game. Minecraft is not a shooter, so lag in minecraft does not really affect fighting, lag in minecraft effects more of the sandbox aspect of the game. For example, if you are building, and you shift to not fall, minecraft lag could make you not shift, and you spam the shift button, and you fall off.

Another way minecraft is affected with lag is when you are walking/running. You could teleport back and forth and it is like you keep changing the direction you want to go in. I have made a list of some lags in minecraft, and remember these are some of the lags in minecraft, if you have a lag that is not present in any off the ones mentioned, please feel free to comment.

Classifying Lags in Minecraft:

What lag does to us, well it lags the game. Pretty self-explanatory, or is it, I can categorize many types of o lagso in minecraft. They each do something different, but as a whole they are all lagging the game.

The First Lag I would like to talk about is called, PvP Lag.

PvP lag is when the people you are PvPing teleport around, like endermen, or freeze for a long time. When they freeze, you attack them and nothing happens. This lag is very hard to overcome. I have faced PvP lag many times and have found only one solution. Wait it out. This lag is really annoying because there is no solution that you can do as a player. The server owner has to do something about it, and most likely he or she wono t.

The second type of lag I found is called Block Lag.

No. 2 Because of Lag!

This type of lag is when you are placing blocks, and more than 1 block is placed at a time. This is really annoying when placing glass or glowstone or any other block that cannot be picked back up. The way to fix this is to change your settings to prevent minecraft lag. There are many articles about preventing lag from your minecraft, but the best settings you need to change to prevent lag are all of the graphic changing ones. If you place everything at the lowest setting your minecraft should be faster.

The Third Type of Lag I Found Is Called Hidden Lag.

This type of lag happens on servers, it is when you are not lagging, but everyone else is frozen and just standing there. The Only way to get rid of this type of lag is to disconnect from the server and try to reconnect. But when Hidden Lag is present, it most likely means the server is restarting. It is annoying when you are doing something important, but easy to wait out. Warning, if you are lazy like me the time it takes to come back could go by like microwave minutes.

The next type of lag I found is called Trolling Lag.

*Get ready for a story

Now trolling lag is wheno ¦well I dono t think it is very common, but I have faced it many times. It is a mix of PvP lag, except with mobs in single player, and block lag.

First the mobs jumped in my house, and then when I attacked it, it jumped out of the house. So, I continued to build and I build this nice house. Then all of a sudden all of my blocks start to unplace, and replace, and my game crashes. This is what I call Minecraft Problems. The only known way to stop this lag is to notice the signs of the lag, and save your game by quitting.

How to deal with lag in general:

If you have no way to stop a certain type of lag, I have a way to deal with it. First, do not continue playing. Step away from your computer. Go do something else, and then come back after like half hour. Your lag should be gone, and you should be able to play lag free.

But, there are better ways. First disconnect or quit the game you are in. Then google o ways to stop minecraft lag.o You should get a bunch of articles about lag in general, but you can be specific and stop the lag youo re facing at the moment. Remember that lag does not mean ito s the end of the world, dono t freak out, and dono t blame lago ¦Blame Paril.

Conclusion:

Lag is annoying, but could be a blessing in disguise.

What about archery lag? Its whenever you hold down the right mouse button to pull back the arrow but they keep shooting out 1 block in front of you like a machine gun!

Search->Control Panel->Programs, but right under it says Unistall Programs, this will give your core more GB which means more effective gameplay, delete the downloads you don't need and delete downloaded games you never play :3, Hope it helped, I went up 10-20fps. But I don't know what will happen with yours, Goodluck
