I actually built my own Minecraft Steve head, but I really wanted to make my costume the most awesome at the party. To do this I got a foam pickaxe and sword! These are really, really cool items that are resemble the in-game items and because they are made of foam you can really go wild with them! ...Within reason.
Since then I've bought an illuminated torch that looks (and acts) just like the torches from Minecraft. I really wish I had one of them when I had my costume because it would have made me stand out even more! What's great though is that once you're finished playing with the torch you can actually stick it to a wall or a desk (like in the game) and make yourself a lamp!
