Profiles
When the new launcher was implemented a feature labled "Profiles" was added. In this you can create a new .Jar. This gives you a fresh start with no worlds, screenshots, or anything else saved. But with this you can also choose your game version. You could open up new snapshots or you could do this.
Open up the oldest version of minecraft. OLDEST. There's two blocks, cobble and grass. You place with left click, and break with right click.
It's CRAZY.
If you load it up there's no opening screen it just zaps you into the world in a creative mode of one block, with no hot bars. To get out you press esc, and it exits the game.
How to do This
When you open up the minecraft launcher there is a button labeled "Edit Profile" and "New Profile". Your current profile should be labled your username.
When you click new profile a screen will pop up.
1. Rename the profile
2. Find where it's saved and change the last part. Example:C:UsersMaxfaAppDataRoaming.minecraft
Change the end after .minecraftto something like .minecraftEarly Version
This is necesary so you don't corrupt your worlds
3. Check the boxes Enable old "Beta" Versions and do the same for alpha versions
4. To get this certain version scroll all the way down to the bottom and click the oldest version

Thank you for reading this blog. I highly recommend to copy your saves to a flashdrive so if your worlds do get corrupted you can fix them.
