I just figured this out for myself. If your Minecraft wont open, not even the launcher, heres what you do.
Search for a previous version of Java and install it. There you go fixed. If its another problem then delete your .minecraft or re install your launcher.
I know this is a very simple fix, so if it doesnt work i apologize. But if it does give me a diamond! :D Thank you.
