Hey Peoples
I've seen soooo many blog posts and stuff on how to do stuff on a Mac.
So ive decided to make a blog on how to do EVERYTHING on a Mac.
I will be covering how to install Texture Packs, Mods, Load downloaded worlds and upload a new skin. (In that Order)
DONT FORGET TO DIAMOND/FAV/SUBSCRIBE :D
TEXTURE PACKS
1. Download texture pack.
2. (Optional) find file in downloads and put it in folder on desktop. (This will make it easier to find :)
3. Go into finder then, library, application support, minecraft, texturepacks
4. Copy and paste texture pack you downloaded into the texturepacks folder.
5. If the downloaded texture pack is in a .zip format, double click it.
(If texture pack is hd format, download mc patcher. If you need help with this step, ask me)
MODS (If the mod need modloader, or other stuffs, just use them as if they are the mod, soo do step 5 to them)
1. Download Mod
2. (Optional) find file in downloads and put it in folder on desktop. (This will make it easier to find :)
3. Open up Terminal and copy and paste this in and press enter.
cd ~
mkdir mctmp
cd mctmp
jar xf ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar
4. Go into finder and there should be a file called mctmp. Leave that there.
5. If mod has a readme file, do what that says, if not, copy and paste all files inside mod file into mctmp.
6. If inside the mod file there is a resources file then go into finder then, library, application support, minecraft, resources and copy all files inside the mods resources into
7. then go back to terminal and copy and paste
rm META-INF/MOJANG_C.*
jar uf ~/Library/Application Support/minecraft/bin/minecraft.jar ./
cd ..
rm -rf mctmp
Mod installed :D
LOAD DOWNLOADED WORLDS
1. Download world
2. Go into finder and then library, application support, minecraft, saves.
3. copy and paste world you downloaded into the saves folder.
4. If the thing you downloaded is in .zip format, double click it.
DONE :D
SKINS
1. Find skin you want
2. if its on PMC press change my skin, log in and press yes or whateva
3. if its non PMC, download it, log into minecraft.net and upload the skin.
Hope this helped, not sure if it made much sense. Please comment if you need any more help.
