When Minecraft first came out in 2009, it was just the most peaceful game. Where many people would be able to be creative, and to express whatever was on their mind. But since then, after a few years, Minecraft has started to mutate the creativity and screw up the kid-friendly part.
What has gone wrong with the fact that minecraft was supposed to be kid-friendly in the first place? Even then, people have been screwing up with mishearing the kid-friendly part.
Look at the Yogscast for example. They did a whole series called The Shadow Of Israphel, they built the towns with originality and with a kid-friendly experience on Minecraft. They built everything, they even made up the characters with some kid-friendly parts, even though the series might be a bit eerie and creepy at first. This is what Minecraft should be about, with everyone having fun this way.
But of course... Minecraft isn't like this anymore... not after what seemed like a new generation of innapropriate things and idiocity.
For example, many people have been building NIGHTCLUBS on servers such as their own or other servers such as Edawg878 and Uberminecraft. I suggest that if you see someone advertising for their club or someone elses, you should go and make something creative and imaginative and show them what Minecraft should be.
Also, if you see someone building something really innapropriate, racist, or offensive on a server that you're on (in which a ton of people do that on servers and single player), then you should report it to SERVER STAFF who really care about keeping the server clean and kid-friendly. You should provide evidence by either taking screenshots, or telling the staff right away. If you're on a server in which staff doesn't care about that stuff, then you should leave straight away and go to another server.
Also, if you're one of those innapropriate, racist, homophobic, or anything else person, then you should run because if you're on a server that really cares, then you're going to be screwed because they're either going to temporarily or permanently ban you from the server.
