Minecraft overpowered and game lost. This is what happens at the hands of some people who have good intentions or others who don't think through their ideas before implementing them into the game.

Overpowering can occur through utility or recipe mods. One in which a person is given the means to turn a challenge, like diamond collecting into an overly easy task. Now smelting gold gives you diamonds. Have twenty gold ingots? Now you have twenty diamonds. You mine some more gold and come across some more diamonds, now you have a full set of diamond armor and all diamond tools with little to no work.

Another way to overpower Minecraft is through the addition of certain weapon and armor mods. For instance one hit kill swords that are obtained too easily or armor mods that do too much without something to balance it out. Another would be gun mod alterations that make it too easy to get ammo so you never have to worry about a challenge.

Game lost. This can occur through the addition of an entire game altering mod that changes Minecraft into something else. Something else where the concept of Minecraft becomes lost. A voice in the wind.

The addition of too many mods can also cause this to occur by adding TOO much. So much that there really isn't a point in playing anymore because you know you have changed the game so much it's lost it's appeal.

Do your part and try not too add too much as a modder or as an installer or do not continue requesting from good modders overpowered mods. Instead IF any are taking requests ask for a small addition like extra foods rather than asking for "Kino Der Toten" or "Halo".
