Minecraft: Should there be more decor?

Hello everyone of PMC! Today, I'm here with my first blog post, and my topic for this blog is should there be more decor? I know, this topic has been discussed a lot, and I mean A LOT, of times before, by many other bloggers on the web. But, since this is my first blog, I just decided that it was a good topic to begin with while I'm getting used to the whole blog-all-my-ideas-on-here thing. So, let's get started!

What's so special about furniture?

I think that furniture, in general life, is something you and I use every single day. Now, I'm not talking about beds, as Minecraft already has these. I'm talking about chairs, tables, shelves, drawers, desks, and so on. I think that furniture is and has been apart of everyone's life since the dark ages, and I think that it really would be a great addition and feature to introduce to Minecraft. Since there is just so much furniture in the modern world, I don't think it would have to have many variations of the main pieces, but I think it should have some. I think that you should be able to dye some curtains and put them on your windows, so when it was a rainy day outside in the Minecraft world, you could close your curtains, and maybe sit down in your cozy red chair, turn your lamp on, and maybe read your, "A Creepers Diary" book (If you don't have any idea what that is, it really is an amazing book, so search it up!) But, overall, I just think this would be a wonderful feature of real life RPG. Just image this:

Novel (Read in 2nd POV)

You wake up in your cozy blue bed, and rub your eyes before standing up and opening the curtains. The blaze of the morning sun shines in your eyes, and you quickly close the shades. You walk out of your bedroom door, with light shinning into your living room. You shrug on some armor and walk outside, just as you feed your dog a bone. You run through the mines, fighting creepers, skeletons, spiders, and even some endermen. When you return home, you have a bounty of diamonds, emeralds, and some iron. You quickly throw the iron and gold into a furnace, just as it begins to rain. You close the curtains and lay down on your couch. You open your night stand and take out a written book you got from a villager. You begin to read, just as you hear a cabinet from your kitchen fly open. You investigate, and once you get to the scene, you see a masked robber stealing all of your goods! He tries to run, but you easily catch up to him. You take of his mask and it reveals a pair of glowing eyes.

RUN

Response

Well that was a lot more intriguing than I wanted it to be. I just kind of started writing and this came out of me. Well, anyways, you get my idea right? I think it would add sort of a RPG to the game, and make your small square house a bit more lively then it would be without the furniture. Instead of just having a small room with a bed, furnace, workbench, and a wood block with a torch on the top (Please tell me i'm not the only one), you can actually have real decor and furniture! Well, I really hope you guys like my first blog post! Tell me if I should make more in the comments below!

Thanks for reading, and don't forget to give a Diamond if you enjoyed!
