For the longest time, you thought Herobrine was just a legend, that he has no significance to the Minecraft universe, but that's where you're wrong! Today, I'm going to prove that Herobrine DOES exist, but not in the way you expected!
Herobrine is a very hard thing to research. Don't get me wrong, there's a ton of videos and junk about him, but we never know which sources are real. So, lets look at the first recording or Herobrine. Just to save you your time, the only things that we need from this is the weird things that spawn. There's sand pyramids in water, two by two tunnels, and trees without leaves. Can all of these happen? Well, yes! The random world generator can generate such structures. I've actually had leafless trees in one of my worlds, back in Alpha. A forest fire happened, that cleared off leaves, but not for logs. And all of these structures, though chances are slim, could actually spawn!
So, is Herobrine real? Well, no. The maker of the post claimed it to be a hoax. But we could be lying, right? Well, again, no. Notch has stated many times Herobrine isn't real, and that he does not have a dead brother. But he could be lying right? I mean, if there's anything I've learned for Gravity Falls, it's that the creators can always tell lies. So, is Herobrine in the game? Again, no...
There's people who have been searching the code of Minecraft for YEARS, and still haven't found any proof of Herobrine's existence. So, is that if then? No! I'm sure you've heard the "joke" Mojang keeps putting in with the updates that come out. With every new update, and the bottom, is says "Removed Herobrine." This could be a reference to the Human mob, and when it was removed, but it was removed way back. So, what is this text? It's simply to add lore. Think about it. Herobrine is one of the biggest Minecraft Mysteries ever! It makes the game stand out, give it more attention, etc. This means that Mojang is using Herobrine to promote Minecraft!
Still need more proof? In the Minecon banner, we can see people like Notch, what appears to be Mojang Staff, and usual Minecraft characters. See the connection? They all help the game progress! Whenever I see a cross-eyed pig, I think Minecraft. Same goes for all of its icons. Notch obviously helped by working on updates and stuff, and so did he staff!
And guess who's in the background of it all? That's right! Herobrine! It all ties together, that Herobrine is being used to promote the successfulness of Minecraft, from the hidden appearances, to the references that he might be added!
Anyways, that's it for now, and thanks for reading (I seriously don't how to end this XD)
