So on May 9th Minecraft was finally released on the Xbox 360 store. Everyone who owns an Xbox and like Minecraft was shaking with excitement and couldn't wait to try out the new style of gaming. I was one of the many people who was excited about Minecraft for many reasons. No Lag, Crisp Graphics, Steady FPS and having the ability to play Multiplayer over Xbox Live or Splitscreen. I downloaded the trial and to be honest it was amazing. It reminded me of the time where I had only just heard of Minecraft and didn't how to play it. You start off in a pre-built world where you can explore and discover new things like a little minecart that is extremely fast, a huge castle and some random placed chests. The controls for the Xbox are a little different compared to a mouse and keyboard but like with any game, with time you will become better at playing it. I quickly learnt all of the controls and began crafting a simple wooden house. When I made my first crafting bench I was then greeted by this strange pop up.

That is the new inventory for the Xbox Minecraft. It features simple info on what you can make and effortless crafting with a click of a button. What I really liked about this inventory is that if you are completely new to Minecraft this will tell you everything that you are able to craft with the current items that you have and what you would need in order to build more of the better items. The only problem with this is that you won't be able to do speedy crafts like you would on the PC due to the lack of a Mouse. Overall I think this game is pretty fun if you want to mess around and try a new style of Minecraft. The only downside is that it will cost you £13.99 for a vanilla Minecraft. Download the trial and have a mess around to get the taste of it and then decide whether to buy it. Personally I think I am going to have to pass on this one although the idea of it is pretty awesome but for £14 I could buy other stuff that I actually need and don't already have.
