This week, I'm going to be reviewing a server called "Minecribs." It has a very huge map, but has a smaller community of about 20 people. However, they do have a slot of 30.
The staff is very friendly and willing to help you. I found abjcamero to be the most helpful. He is a mod on the server. One of my long-time Minecraft friends showed me this server, and it's great! The spawn area is very creative and has a natural look about it. There are shops around spawn, and it is almost like a little village near and around spawn!
There are two worlds on this map. One is 100% freebuild, the other is a new hardcore PvP world. The PvP world has ranks such as trader, headhunter, and mayors. Traders keep the economy running smoothly, while headhunters are similar to bounty hunters, and mayors run cities.
I suggest you guys really check this server out - I think you're going to like it! So I'll stop talking and just give you guys the IP. ^.^

It's currently updated with Bukkit 1.2!

Hey guys,
Minecribs is no longer a server. However, there is a close re-make. Here is what a player, HitMan4Life said:
"A great server, sad to see it go. I mean Game of Coins is a close remake, (btw it IS a remake of Minecribs! The IP is "gameofcoins.tk") but it isn't quite enough. (Mostly missing the strong freebuild foundation.) Never the less, if you wish to be a part of the same community, (not including the original owner of Minecribs) you can always check out its duplicate."

This was my first server ever to officially get "addicted" to.
I created a full city (long forgotten name) in a desert, then built a "mansion" with a large residential area behind it. I must have spent about 4 months worth of time on that server. Would make up 7 in the morning during the summer and play til 11 at night.
But the server and the website have long died. This makes me very sad, but acceptable.
