Hi, SpeedBlocker here with a Minedea blog and as a matter of fact, it's my first one too!

So, for my Minedea entry, I've got quite few of them which I think would implement a more in depth approach to the game, therefore making it more exciting and fun for new players and old ones too. Personally, I think it would add more of an adventure feel to the game, and an on edge experience, thrusting a whole new set of features to Minecraft.

My first idea is to do with multiplayer and how the creators of Minecraft could make it MUCH easier to host a server: instead of having to port forward, download the server client or get Hamachi, maybe in the multiplayer menu, there could be an icon or button to create a new server. Now, in order for this to work, you can't name the server exactly the same as someone elses server. For example: "My friend has made a server and I want to make one too. Hmmm, I like his server name so I'll name my server the same aswell." If that happened, it would come up as something like "That server name already exists, try a different one." So, now we've got that sorted out, what about the IP or code combination you have to put in to join the server? Well, all you would have to do is put it in the pass box the numbers or letters or whatever and then you've created a server. Easy, huh? I think something along those lines would really please the Minecrafter community! In addition, there could be a more options menu which alows you to choose the seed and whether you want PvP and other options too.

Now, I think that we should move off from the menu and hop into the game. First off, I have a good idea for the first night. On your first day in survival, you have two options: to build a little hole in the ground and sleep in there or make a small, easy house to make. Another option if this were added into the game, would be to craft a camp fire. Wherever the camp fire was placed, at night, no mobs could spawn less than fifteen blocks away. To make this more exciting, maybe the camp fire's light could slowly dim, therefore, letting mobs spawn closer and closer... The only way to keep the fire churning all its energy into light would be to probably keep it going with sticks, coal etc...

My third idea for the game would be to add bandits to the game. Every now and then, they would travel to villages and raid them, slaughtering innocent villagers, griefing their houses and robbing chests. If you were to kill every single bandit during the raid, saving the villagers and overcoming them, the villagers would reward you a surprise..
