Simply put, combining food/weapons with potions.
Similar to a one-time-use enchantment, really. Crafting a potion and a weapon or food product would enhance them with said potion.
Imagine the possibilities: Bread of healing, apples of invisibility, enhanced golden apples, a sword that would deal poison damage, or even greater damage, or even help someone!
Or arrows that could do the same, a sniper poisoning from afar, an assassin coming to the aid of another with an arrow of rejuvenation, or someone poisoning someone of power's food!
Of course, with the weapons/arrows it would label what potion has been used on it, but with food, it would be a little more subtle, as to keep up the surprise of poisoned food.
Wouldn't it be miraculous? I mean, I know enchantments are better, but I've always been fond of alchemy.. and proven my point in saying alchemy triumphs enchantments on total level.
If I knew how to make mods, I'd certainly make this into one.
