[Minedeas] Realism

Hello, this is my Minedea.

What is it?

I propose to you all a new system, that is much more realistic. It would implement a new way of measuring much more stuff! These 'things' are:-
-Health
-Food
-Drink
-Insanity
-Happiness
-Pressure
-Sunburn
-Cave Collapse System




Let's explore each in greater detail:

Health

Health has always been in Minecraft but this would make it more realistic. How? If you are hit by a mob, player etc. and he/she/it has a tool that isn't a sword, then you will start to bleed slowly. You lose about 1/2 a heart every 30 seconds until you patch it up with a bandage (9 paper in a crafting table). If you are hit by a sword however, then you will be bleeding substantially and the more you are hit, the faster you bleed.

Why and how would this work?

It would implement a much higher level of skill required to fight off mobs, which is what a lot of people want. Also, wearing armour would greatly reduce the bleeding level and the higher the level of armor the higher the protection:
(None>Leather>Chainmail>Iron>Gold>Diamond)

Food and Drink levels.

Food and Drink


Currently in Minecraft there is only a 'Hunger' bar. However with the implementation of this, then you would be presented with two. One of which is red(meat) the other blue(water). In order to keep the both of them full, you must be drinking and eating food or water.

How would FOOD work?

It would be measured as it is currently, however drinking a lot will also deplete your hunger making you need more food, you can also now kill SQUIDS which drop seafood. Eating this will increase both.

How would DRINK work?

It would be measured similarly to hunger however it is depleted further when doing any one of the following:
-Sprinting
-Swimming
-Jumping
-Eating
-Potion of thirst

You can increase it by drinking water or cooled lava. Lava can be cooled by encasing it in ice then catching it in a bucket.

Why would these be a good addition and work?

They would add a sense of realism to the game, creating a further challenge for experienced players. Again they are disabled in peaceful so those who don't want a realistic Minecraft don't need it.




Insanity / Happiness

Insanity and Happiness basically go hand in hand. If your happiness is low, insanity is high.

How do you keep Insanity LOW and Happiness HIGH?

You must engage in activities from the following to keep happiness HIGH:-
-Fishing
-Sleeping
-(Multiplayer) Chatting
-Fighting mobs
-Discovering loot in dungeons/strongholds.
-Exploring Jungle/Desert temples.

What makes Insanity become HIGH and Happiness to become LOW?

By either not doing anything from he above list or something from this list:-

-Mining
-Digging
-Crafting
-Breaking blocks
-Jumping
-Losing health
-Being hungry/thirsty.

Why would this work?

It would allow you to create a survival island for example where you are also fighting insanity. Again adding realism. This can be disabled too.


Pressure

Currently in Minecraft, you can get to any depth both in water and underground. However, Pressure would mean that the following would come into effect:-

-10 blocks down (NO WATER) -- 1 Heart / 10 Minutes
-10 blocks down (WATER) -- 1 Heart/ 5 minutes
-25 blocks down (NO WATER) -- 2 Hearts/ 15 minutes
-25 blocks down (WATER) -- 2 Hearts / 7.5 minutes
-50 blocks down (NO WATER) -- 4 Hearts / 6 minutes.
-50 blocks down (WATER) -- Dead.

(NOTE: The same applies in reverse eg. 10 blocks up (no water) -- 1 Heart / 10 Minutes)

Of course, there is a pressure proof suit that you can make from:

STONE STONE STONE
IRON IRON IRON
IRONHELMET

This negates the effects however at 50 blocks down, it begins to lose durability and after 30 minutes breaks. It can be improved by using gold or diamond instead of anything iron which doubles the time. (Gold - 1 hour, Diamond - 2hours)

Why would THIS be effective?

It would again add more realism for the player. Creating a challenge which is fun!

Sunburn

Sunburn. Deadly. Painful. Minecraft. Long exposure to the sun = Sunburn. Pretty simple. It'd mean that if you don't have a roof on your house then you get burnt and start losing health (1 Heart / 3 minutes) Sunblock negates the burning which takes 10 minutes of exposure to begin. Water also negates the burning after it has started.

Sunblock:

WHEAT PAPER WHEAT
WATER WATER WATER
WATER LAVA WATER

Gives you 12 uses of Sunblock

This creates more challenges again.


Cave Collapse

So what do I mean, I mean that when you are mining there is a 30% chance that the roof will crash down on you, killing you. This applies for DIRT, STONE, COBBLESTONE. NOT Wood.

This would mean taking into account the chance of you dying from the cave as well!

Wooden Beams can be crafted to hold up the roof. (1 Beam needed for a radius of 3 blocks )

IRON /// WOOD
