So i decided to put my Minecraft mod idea out there io ve been thinking on this for a while so here it is.
So the purpose of this mod is for when you are low on wood, and you need some storage, tools, rest or maybe your crafting table got blown to bits by a creeper.
Imagine having stone beds, stone sticks, stone chests, or even stone crafting tables. This can be a way to get rid of the stacks among stacks of cobblestone you get. Instead of searching for all the wool it requires to create a bed why not just put 3 stone on bottom and 3 cobblestone on top and get a stone bed. Maybe your wasting all your wood on sticks for all your tools when you could just use some stone and make the tools more durable. Have you ever ran out of storage space? Then why not make some stone chests and that problem will burn in some lava!
Now imagine yourself in a cave surrounded by mobs and all you have is some stone! why waste your time looking for a way up and make your house down there, who needs fresh air. Create all the tools you need down there, sleep on a nice comfortable stone bed and store all your valuables in a nice little stone chest.
All these additions to Minecraft will improve game-play by having all the items that you are able to create with wood, be made with stone. like all the items I listed above.
