Hey everyone welcome to my third Mod review. I'm reviewing the Dark Shadow mod today, made by gamer1097.
This Mod is just plain awesome. There are plenty of new features this mod adds to Minecraft, that being tools, ores, and mobs and more. This mod can keep you playing for hours, there's so many features to this it's unbelievable.
I can most likely go on for about an hour telling you all about this, but I'll try to keep it short. OK first we have the staffs; There's plenty of these, you can go on for hours trying each staff, there are staffs like Stone Staffs, Ice Staffs, Lava Staffs, Water Staffs, and even Chest Staffs! Each Staff can be used fifty times.
The tools, also a lot of these. There are obsidian tools, these happen to be the most basic of the new tools. Most of the tools are all "End Game" tools. They are very hard to make, requiring multiple diamonds, Dark Shadow Ingots, Dark Shadow Dust, and the new ores. These ores being the Fire Gem Ore, and Dark Shadow ore.
Here's just some random stuff, a few small parts of the Mod, and some fun facts. There's Obsidian Armor, A new mob, The Dark Shadow Assassin, this mob is rare to find except in the Desert biome. The Fire Gem Ore spawns at level twenty-five and is very rare. The Dark Shadow Ore spawns at level seventeen. There's a new apple, the Fire Gem Apple, which heals five hearts. Dark Shadow tools can be used three hundred times, yet they are as fast as creative. Obsidian Tools can be used three thousand times.
