I am an intermediate modder and I have worked hard to be where I am today, however I am beginning to notice a drastic incease in what I refer to as "modding noobs"

Let me explain what that is, A modding noob is someone that does no work at all and then pastes his modding winning about how much work they put into it and how they need diamonds for all of there hard work. The sad part is 90% of people do not know how to mod and they believe them so now we have 60% of the modders on PMC not doing any work yet having high levels so everyone starts to subscribe because they think that they are "Epic."

Do you see the problem?

The worst kind of modding noobs are those that when confronted lie and then challenge the accuser to make he exact same mod. There are two problems the the modding noob knows well save him,
1) The accuser well be real busy with upkeep on his mods to actually do it.
2) Even if the accuser does make the mod, he can flag as a copy and then the accuser well have no prof.

I have called about 4 people out on there mods being in need of literally no skill what so ever, the first three went like this.

1-3: why dont you make the exact same mod?
When I said that I coud not they accused me of being a noob and told me what to do with my mods, then I posted links to my mods in there disc. just to show them who they where messing with and they deleted the post and never bothered me again.

The fourht one happened just three days ago.

I came across a new mod where you can grow crops and use a fermenter to make cheese from milk.

Now this may sound hard to code, but all that the person did was make a new texture for furnace and wheat, then they copy and pasted the code into there class files, maybe change one line out of the 100 lines of code the pasted, then they posted it and wined for diamond.

I called them out in which they claimed how hard it was to make and why dont I just make one if it is so easy.

I replied in two posts:

hmm.. lets see I have a food mod, I have a mod like this, and I have a dimensions, biome, mob, tools, weapon, armour, structure, etc. mod I made the food and he furnace like mod In one day, I have mad more mods than you and yes all that you did was take furnace code you did no GUI coding what so ever. and the only reason you are a higher level is because you make easy to code mods and then beg for diamonds saying that they where hard! you want to see a hard mod try making a dimension with custom blocks, mobs, tools, and portal!

and:

And challange excepted, After I finish my current mod I well notify you that I am ready to start, All you have to do Is tell me what food to include and what else you want me to do. The only rule is that it can not exceed the dificulty off your mod. i.e. a custom gui that is not already in game (A furnace that has as many slots as a crafting table). and you can even tell me what blocks you want the food to grow on i.e. a rice grow on sand. and also if they should grow in light or dark. plus you get to define crafting recipe. Okay? start your list and prepare to be schooled noob

He replied by telling me how he was a higher level and blah blah blah then blocked me, sooo I am guessing he doesn't want me to make a better version of his mod?.

Now you may wonder why I wrote all of this out.

It was to plead that anyone that is a modding noob to actually try and also for anyone that is a mod downloader to not just give a diamond to a modder if they actually;say please diamond or give diamond or diamond or whatever.

That is my noob rage for the week.
