My idea for the contest is more uses for slimeballs.
First off, slimeballs dont have many uses, except for sticky pistons, here's some ideas for ore uses for slimeballs:

Placeable Slimeballs- You would be able to place slimeballs on the ground and would appear a green square half the size of a half slab. If a player, animal, or mob steps passed it they will slow down to the speed of a slowness 1/slowness 2 effect. Great for adventure maps i would say :3 And of course the way you craft it is 3 slimeballs on the bottom, middle, or top. This can be placed on walls too.

Slimeballs in the potion system- In this idea you will start with brewing a slimeball with a awkward potion. When the potion is finished, it will become a "sticky potion." If the player drinks the sticky potion they will be stuck and will not be able to move for a short period of time. The effects will have to be short even when extended, because if its 8 minutes, that's pretty overkill. And of course splash potions for traps :3

* Slime Boots- Adding on to the potion idea, you would be able to right click a cauldron with a slimeball and it will add 1 layer of "slime juice" (I'm bad with names). If you dip a LEATHER boot in it 1 layer of "slime juice" will dissapear and the leather boots will become "sticky leather boots." With the sticky leather boots you will be able to take half or a quarter damage from what you usually take from FALL DAMAGE. And when there is a wall 2 blocks or higher you can double jump on it, so being able to jump over 2-4 or 2-3 block walls, and can also jump higher with a beacon that has jump boost on it around of course. Great for parkour maps i would say for myself. :3

Sticking food to slimeballs- For this idea you can be able to stick food to slimeballs to add more hunger bars to it. If you put a slimeball in a crafting bench you will be able to put up to 4 food items in the bench to add food to it. For example, if you put a slimeball and 4 apples in, that will give you 8 health, but also give you the "sticky" effect for 5-10 seconds. But to lower the over powerness, you can lower how many food you put in a slimeball or raise the sticky effect time, or even lower some food bars. (Note: The sticky effect makes you stick in place)

Slime Heads- You would be able to have a low chance to get a slime head from medium slimes or big slimes, or even little slimes. And when you do get one you can be able to place them like the normal heads. Another use is in the idea below.

Slime golemns- With the slime golemns, you can build them using a block called a "slime block" which can be crafted with 9 slimeballs. The blocks will have no use. You will need 2 slime blocks and 1 slime head to create the slime golemn. It will be crafted like a snowman with 2 blocks below then the head on top. The slime golemns will leave a trail of sticky slime from idea 1. And when attacked they will throw slimeballs and when hit will damage the player 1-2 hearts if the player has no armor. With a low chance the player will get the "sticky" effect. When the golemn is killed it will drop 6-12 slimeballs.

Sticky blocks- With the sticky blocks idea, you can put a slimeball in a crafting bench and/ore gravel, sand, or any block that falls if there is an air block below. If you put the slimeball in the crafting bench with the block OR put it in a cauldron with the "slime juice" in it. Either one or both. When the block is placed it will not fall if there is at least 1 block attaching it. If there is air blocks all around it, it will still fall. This will not stick to regular pistons.

Sticky effect on swords- In this idea you can be able to have the "sticky" effect on swords. I dont know much about enchantments, but ill try my best. You would be able to enchant a slimeball or a book, the enchantment will not come up on a sword. There will be a sticky 1, 2, 3, 4 and so on. From beggining and up it will raise the chances of the effect and the time of the effect. For example sticky 1 might have 1 15-20% chance of dealing the sticky effect for 2-3 seconds. And that would raise if it is a higher level. If you enchant a slimeball the chances of getting sticky is deffitely, to overpowered? then only be able to enchant books.

Slime attracting block- I cannot think of a name for this item yet but the use for this item is to attract slimes. Before i go on the way you can craft this is surround iron/gold/diamond with slimeballs. The range of the block depends on the material in the item, Example: iron will give off up to 6 blocks, gold 14 blocks, and diamond 36 blocks. With the block, slimes within the block distance will go towards the block, if there are multiple blocks in range the slime will choose one and go to it randomly. Uses for this block can be thought of by mayny players.

These are just some ideas for slimeballs and took me forever to think of because you know, they're useless.

1. Love the ideas 2. Because of the color slimeball is always in it makes it hard to read. 3. The 'Slime Attracting Block' could be called the Sticker Block.
